This course teaches you how multimedia technologies work, and how a business can benefit from their use. You gain the ability to apply different skills to solve real business problems, while working and communicating with others. You do not need any previous IT qualifications as we designed the course to allow anyone who is enthusiastic and motivated to succeed. The course gives you the skills to become a specialist in the multimedia technologies used by businesses to communicate internally and externally. You gain knowledge and ability in multimedia-based computer systems interactive web-based applications industry standard databases business systems analysis and design project management As well as developing substantial technical knowledge of the different multimedia formats and platforms, you also learn about key business processes and how these multimedia technologies can improve communication in the workplace. Work-based learning is a key feature of your studies. In year two, you complete a project which involves you applying your skills to a real work environment.
