Mechanical Engineers enhance the quality of our life as almost every aspect of modern life involves directly or indirectly mechanical engineering.
The Master study is designed to provide knowledge and skills for applying a scientific foundation to solve engineering problems in various engineering industries.
Studies focus on specialised courses in Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering and Processing Techniques with a particular interest in the development of new composite materials, analysis of large dynamic systems, design of medical equipment and robotic devices.
Entry requirements
All International students, if English is not their first language, are required to provide a proof of English language knowledge. The following methods are acceptable:
IELTS – a minimum overall grade of 6.0, Please note that IELTS test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
TOEFL (iBT)- a minimum overall score 75. TOEFL institutional code for Riga Technical University is 8498. Please note that TOEFL iBT test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
Present a letter confirming that previous education was in English;
