Course overview

The world of post production is rich and very diverse, and this course opens opportunities to launch a career as an editor, grader, or visual effects artist. You could end up working in feature films, television or the full spectrum of online media.

Our BA(Hons) Editing and Post Production is highly regarded by employers as a course that delivers versatile and industry-ready graduates; 90% of our students are employed within six months. Past graduates have set up their post production companies; found roles at the BBC, Framestore, ITV, Disney; or worked in post production houses editing prestigious films including Thor, Star Wars, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

"Ravensbourne appealed to me because of the use of high end technology and the infrastructure of having professional tutors who are also engaged in the industry," Rafael Bettega, BA (Hons) Editing and Post Production alumnus and part of the Oscar-winner team for Amy.

Our degree programme gives you all the practical and critical skills you need to thrive in this industry, while also helping you develop your chosen area of specialisation.
