About Law and Climate Justice, LLB (Hons) - at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL)
Queen Mary’s Law and Climate Justice LLB offers a law degree program with a difference as the first qualifying law degree in the UK with a specialism in climate justice. In this 3-year programme, you’ll study the core law modules required with specialist modules on the topic of climate justice. During the programme, you can expect to explore legal rules, principles, reasoning and ideas in comparative, social, political, economic, historical, philosophical, and practical contexts while being encouraged to apply this in the context of struggles and debates on climate justice.
By reflecting on the core law modules with a climate justice perspective, you will be armed with the tools to interpret legal scholarship through the lens of environmental and climate concerns.
This programme is for students seeking a career in environmental and climate law and policy, looking to work for environmentally focused civil society organisations and those who view law as an important site of social and environmental change.
