You explore the application of food marketing and nutritional science to food markets, food consumers, diet, nutrition and health.

Topics include:

  • the structure of the food industry (which represents the largest manufacturing base in Europe)
  • the links between diet and health
  • the challenges of securing a globally sustainable, safe and nutritious food system

You'll gain the critical and analytical skills required to assess the global food system from a social, economic, legal, technological, ethical, political and environmental perspective.
