It combines the study of mathematics and statistics with the study of the major processes of business management, with specialist modules delivered by Newcastle University Business School.
You spend two thirds of your time studying mathematics and statistics, and have the flexibility to tailor the combination of mathematics and statistics content to suit your interests.
You also spend one third of your time studying management, with topics including:
- general management theory and practice
- interpreting company accounts
- human resource management
- ethics and corporate governance

You will join the School of Mathematics and Statistics, based in the Herschel Building, just a two-minute walk from the city centre.
We have a state-of-the-art learning environment and you'll have access to extensive IT facilities for teaching and self-study, including:
- computer-based exercises with instant review of model solutions
- problem-solving video tutorials
- recording system for video capture of lectures, which you can download and watch again to help with your revision
We also have a dedicated mathematics and statistics library and reading room.
