Course overview
The modern communication environment changes fast. Technologies, trends and audience expectations are constantly shifting. To succeed, the modern communications professional needs to possess a range of skills that allow them to adapt and respond to rapid developments and new opportunities. Our unique degree is the only one in the UK that combines branding, advertising and creative media. We produce graduates who are ready for the challenges of this volatile, exciting world. Our students have gone on to work for companies such as Ogilvy, Warner Bros, Universal, Ketchum and Adidas in roles such as publicists, copywriters, social media specialists, content creators and influencer management. The diversity of their achievements demonstrates the way our degree gives motivated students the skills and confidence to achieve their goals.
Our graduates produce the kind of engaging, innovative and shareable content that brands and agencies need. From the creative spark of that first idea through the processes of planning, creation and delivery, you'll learn to build campaigns that influence audiences and meet client needs.
You will graduate with a portfolio of work that demonstrates your creative abilities and the technical skills you'll have developed across design for print, web, social media and video. You'll have produced adverts, campaign plans and promotional content for a range of clients, products and causes and you'll be confident in presenting your ideas in a variety of formats.
Our degree is taught on campuses in London, Mauritius, Dubai and via our partners in Vietnam. This global perspective allows us to prepare our students to work in a diverse industry that speaks to people across cultures and borders. You will graduate with personal skills such as leadership, collaborative working, creative innovation, communication and empathy. You'll have experience of working with industry-standard software and equipment in professional-class facilities. This course enhances employability and prepares graduates to thrive in the creative media industries.
