About Intelligent Embedded Systems, MSc - at Mälardalen University
Around 99 percent of all computers today are embedded and are found in mobile phones, game consoles, digital cameras, cars, aeroplanes, medical equipment, home electronics and robots. These systems are becoming increasingly more intelligent in order to satisfy the users' specific needs. Intelligent embedded systems belong to the future and here you can learn how to design them.
The Master’s programme in Intelligent Embedded Systems is a two-year programme at second-cycle level. The programme comprises of both a project part, in cooperation with industry, and a theoretical part. The courses in the programme embrace the latest theory and practice within the areas of embedded systems, artificial intelligence and robotics.
The programme has world-leading experts as teachers, study projects and work placement at companies, as well as scholarships for studying abroad. We have an exchange agreement with the top-ranked research university the Technical University of Eindhoven in Holland. Through this programme you also have the opportunity of obtaining a double Master’s degree at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The NISS-programme , is another opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner universities in the Nordics.
We collaborate with industry, and in the practical part of the programme company equipment is offered at some of our partner companies such as ABB and Ericsson. The programme content is developed together with the companies to guarantee that you will obtain skills requested by the industry. During the course of the programme you will also come into contact with industry through guest lectures, mentorship and placement.
