Overview of the university

Leeds Arts University is a dedicated creative arts university in the UK, the only one in the North of England. With its rich history of over 175 years of specialist teaching, students enjoy a close-knit community in a creative atmosphere where anything feels possible.

All the University’s undergraduate degrees also have the option of studying over four years to include a placement year. Also known as a sandwich year, work placement, or year in industry this provides a fantastic opportunity to enhance employability and gain practical experience in the creative industries.

With access to superb facilities and expert staff, the University offers an excellent environment in which to study courses across art, design, media, fashion, performance and much more, opening up a myriad of collaborative opportunities.
