Course overview
The Executive Master in Global Supply Chains is a one-year program that equips participants with the up-to-the-minute knowledge and tools required to manage the global supply chain process with maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and professional quality. Innovative techniques and tools equip participants with a broad vision of fast track contexts and markets. The program comprises five periods. There are two intensive, face-to-face, two-week training periods separated by two online virtual learning periods, rounded off by a final period that offers both on-site and online options.A series of conferences will run parallel to the program (during both the face-to-face and online periods), and which focus on the latest issues and challenges facing the sector. These conferences will be led and chaired by leaders in the field who will share their experiences, knowledge, and expertise with you, keeping the program's finger on the industry's pulse and keeping you abreast of latest developments as you expand your network of contacts.Face to Face PeriodsFace to Face PeriodsThe on-site periods provide the environment needed to work with concepts and skills that require face-to-face interaction among students and professors. These periods consist of seminars focused on skill-building activities, presentations of individual and group projects, and assessment tests to consolidate the work covered over the course of the program. The world of global supply chains is not bound by borders and your master program should reflect that. Your learning experience will be accentuated by face-to-face periods held in Madrid and Shanghai, cities that embody modern economy and which are cultural, commercial, industrial and financial centers, playing a fundamental role in the world of international business. Here you will come into contact with the finest managers in the field, and with leading companies, industry leaders and many more key players who will be there to exchange views, concerns and ideas, providing the perfect platfrom to extend your network of contacts.Online PeriodsThe virtual campus is the focal point for activities that serve as a communication platform for the study groups and for teacher-led online sessions. You will participate in online forums and discussions and have easy access to the comments, opinions and experiences of professors and fellow students, as well as general information on the program. These online forums will be active 24 hours a day allowing each person to manage their time as well as facilitating active participation and contribution. This asynchronous form of study promotes free-flowing communication between professors and students, whilst maintaining the flexibility which is so central to the program. You will play a key role in your own training right from the start of the course: intensive communication and a methodology that hinges on participation guarantee a high level of motivation and commitment to the program.
