Data science is becoming increasingly important in national and international enterprises and comprises the process of understanding data, data preparation, modelling, evaluation and implementation of data-driven solutions. Students on the Master's programme in Data Science use academic methods and techniques to derive decisions for various fields of application from data sets. The Master's programme is practice-oriented and focuses on data engineering and data analysis. Various data frameworks are used, such as Python and R. This knowledge is transferred in courses related to practice, team projects and the Master's thesis.
