About Accounting and Finance (HETAC), BA (Hons) - at Griffith College

This degree is ideal for students interested either in a career in the accounting profession or who wish to develop the expertise to analyse business activities from a financial perspective. This course explores the theory and pratical application of accounting and finance, and will give you a thorough grouding in the key business disciplines.

In the first year of the degree programme the subjects are held with the BA in Business Studies and this gives students the flexibility to adjust their career choices if necessary.

On completion of the course, students will be equipped with the ability to identify changes in business requirements as they occur and have the confidence to develop and implement new procedures to satisfy them.

As with the BA in Business Studies the College received participation and support from both its full-time and external lecturing staff and a wide range of industries in endeavouring to design a degree programme which reflects the multiple requirements of today's business and finance world.
