Course overview

Too little exercise, sitting in the office all day – our modern lifestyles allow back and musculoskeletal system problems to manifest. Yet these, and more, can be alleviated or avoided with the help of physiotherapy. Whether due to wear and tear, illness, or after accidents – as a physiotherapist you help people to treat their mobility issues. As much attention is paid to therapy and rehabilitation as it is to health promotion and prevention.

A well-thought-out combination of theory and experience is what makes you an expert in the prevention, therapy, and rehabilitation of functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Our well-rounded training combines specialist, methodological, self, and social skills with strategic and scientific qualifications.

This combination of professional and social-communicative skills equips you with the tools you need to treat patients in the best possible way and based on the latest standards of physiotherapy.

Our Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences will provide you with the know-how needed to substantially improve your patients' quality of life.

Our Physiotherapy degree at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences will train you in the following areas:
