This part-time program is designed to address complex problems across community energy and microgrid disciplines and equip you with the knowledge and skills to progress your career in the energy sector.

Learn from leading academics and researchers as well as national and international practitioners about the complex nature of renewable energy sources, energy storage, community microgrids, emerging technologies, and energy project management.

Our online delivery mode offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle, allowing you to get ahead in your professional and personal life.

Upon completion you may be eligible for entry to the Master of Engineering Technology (Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Systems). 


Entry requirements

  • Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.

  • A recognised three year degree in science, engineering or equivalent in relevant specialisation, awarded by an Australian university, or a recognised overseas equivalent;

    or

    A recognised diploma in science, engineering or equivalent in relevant specialisation with credit average, awarded by an Australian university, or a recognised overseas equivalent, and with appropriate level of relevant industry experience.
