Course overview
'Computer Science for Intelligent Systems'
This International Master of 'Computer Science' is a two-year programme entirely taught in English, that aims to provide the skills required in the design of 'Intelligent Systems'. Intelligent systems are connected, embedded, real-time systems that interact with their operational environment. These systems are often autonomous and have to perform complex applications.
The main topics of the programme concern:
- Embedded and Real-time computing
- Image Analysis
- Machine Learning
- Networking
After a common core semester, graduates may broaden their knowledge in a chosen field of interest. Students may also attend courses from other majors offered at ESIEE-Paris, e.g. Electronic, Data and Networks and Embedded Systems. General Management and innovation issues, as well as French culture and language are also considered.
At the end of each year, students are required to conduct a development or research project with either a company or a laboratory. This can be carried out either in France or abroad.
Further to this Master, students may begin an engineering career or undertake a PhD in domains that may concern, but are not restricted to, Embedded systems, Digital imaging, Internet of things (IoT) and Data analysis.
