Course overview
In this double major you'll gain an understanding of the principles and processes of advertising and other forms of communications from a marketing perspective. You'll conduct research on customer needs, design new products and services, and gain detailed insight into advertising and public relations. You'll also learn how to successfully organise and control marketing activities in a highly competitive environment. Graduates can apply for membership for the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), the Marketing Research Institute of Australia, the Professional Sales and Marketing Institute, the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).
