Course overview
The programme in Children's and Youth Mission is for people who want to explore the creative new ways of missionally engaging with children and young people in our contemporary culture. This programme is designed for lay or ordained persons, from all traditions, who are interested in examining, assessing and leading such initiatives in mission through the discipline of postgraduate level study and personal research.
This programme can be taken in a number of ways; as a postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or MA, as full time or part time and is part of a larger programme offering additional specific streams in Children and Youth.
Students on the Children and Youth stream take three compulsory units, with one optional unit. The three five-day residential taught units cover children's mission, youth mission, and a unit that shares additional themes common to both children's and youth mission.
Each unit is assessed by a 6,000-7,000 word paper or equivent.
