Course overview

This course prepares you for entry to HNC Soft Tissue Therapy / HND Sports Therapy. It introduces you to human physiology and body massage, as well as sports mechanics and other relevant subjects (please see the 'What you Study' section below, for more information).

You'll be taught by qualified specialists in sports therapy and sports science, who have a wealth of industry experience.
The course is a blend of practical subjects which take place in the sports clinic, the gym and the classroom. You'll be expected to work with your classmates in a range of areas including designing a training programme and sports therapy related areas such as taping and massage. To give you valuable first hand experience you'll have the opportunity to work with HND students at events that require sports therapy, or first aide support.

On successful completion of the NQ course, you'll be able to progress to HNC Soft Tissue Therapy / HND Sports Therapy, or any other relevant HN programme.
