Course overview
This course is a technician level qualification that will provide you with the basics you'll need to enter into a career in the Built Environment. During the course you'll:
- Develop your technical knowledge and understanding.
- Have the opportunity to develop and apply your critical reasoning and analysis skills to solve construction problems, using current industry standards and by applying contemporary industry techniques.
- Develop your personal and business skills.
The course is a great way into a career in the Construction Industry. It's also an ideal course for those who want to pursue a technician level career in the industry, but haven't yet chosen a specialism.
On completing the course, you can progress straight to the second year HND programme without having to do any extra units.
