Course overview
Buckinghamshire New University’s Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship is based on our successful pre-registration nursing programme and supports employers to develop their healthcare staff towards registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, as either adult, child or mental health nurses.
This apprenticeship is an ideal progression route for Assistant Practitioners and other staff who have undertaken the relevant foundation degrees as they might be able to carry forward credits in order to gain a BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult, Child or Mental Health). The three and a half year apprenticeship programme is also suitable to develop existing Healthcare Workers who are keen to develop towards registered nurse status and of course, can also be used to support recruitment of new apprentices to your organisation.
