About Business and Management - Accounting, BA (Hons) - at Bath Spa University

This Business and Management course will take you through the basics of accounting as well as the core business skills needed to succeed. By the time you graduate, you'll be able to:

• confidently interrogate financial information
• understand costing concepts
• prepare overhead analysis sheets
• make decisions employing marginal costing
• understand the nature and purpose of environmental accounting, and its link with social responsibility.

Through real-world experience and scenarios, we'll help you develop as a business professional.

You'll graduate with potential for employment in different businesses. Whether in the private or public sector, a charity or possibly your own business, you'll be able to apply your knowledge in a wide range of situations in any sector.

You can also bring in modules from areas outside the Accounting pathway if you want to explore issues around a particular theme, such as sustainability or global affairs.
