Course overview

You can study French as a joint honours degree with German (50% French, 50% German).

This course will give you advanced skills in both French and German language, and will give you a broad range of specialised and detailed insights into the cultures, societies and history that goes with them. The course has language at the heart of it, with core modules developing the key oral, aural and written skills every year. These modules also foster cultural awareness, which you will need for your year abroad, and later on, for the world of work.
