Course overview

The Aston Advanced Hearing Therapy MSc programme provides you with the knowledge base to support the provision of service for patients with a wide range of hearing and hearing-related problems. This programme introduces the function and disorders of the auditory system, audiological assessment, and management of hearing disorders in adults.

This MSc programme will develop your understanding and practice of adult rehabilitation and research in the field of audiology or closely related area, for example, psychology, speech and language therapy.

You will initially enrol on the MSc, and will then have the option of taking each of the three stages of the course in order (PgCert, PgDip then MSc), or it is possible to exit the course after any of these stages, enabling you to be flexible with your level of study commitment at the outset
