Course Description:

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the film, television, radio and digital media industries.

This hands on course will give you practical training and experience in all aspects of screen media from pre to post production. This diploma will equip you with the tools and skills necessary to confidently step into the professional screen and media industry.

This Diploma is designed to introduce you to a range of specialised technical and managerial competencies used in the professional screen and media industry. You will learn the fundamentals of film, television and media production, and the required standards of practise as you develop your skills within a thriving media production house environment.

4B Media School aims to provide practical and professional education in Screen & Media to those interested in attaining this qualification, with a focus on skills based hands-on training in a comprehensive and holistic manner, in both screen & media production and post-production.

Students will have the opportunity to write, produce, direct their own project, collaborate on other students' projects, and participate in professional productions alongside their instructors. Primarily students should be interested in telling stories using screen & media. Graduates from this program should expect to acquire the skills necessary to work in a variety of screen and media based roles, ranging from cinematography to scriptwriters. Uniquely, graduates may have the opportunity to have production credits to their name, by the time of their graduation.

This diploma covers a broad range of training modules that will take you through the screen media production process, exploring script writing, cinematography, editing, motion graphics, sound recording, directing and producing.
