What are autonomous systems?

Autonomous systems are technologies that can perform tasks and make decisions without human intervention. They combine robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), control systems, and sensor technology to operate independently in various environments. This includes applications in self-driving cars, drones, manufacturing robots, and smart infrastructure.

The field draws on knowledge from computer science, engineering, mathematics, and AI. As an autonomous systems student, you will learn how to design, program, and test intelligent machines.
