Course overview

Occupational Therapy is part of health sciences in a biopsychosocial perspective. It deals with multifaceted rehabilitation, improving the physical, mental and social well-being of individuals and social groups, by supporting participation in activities recognised by the individual or social group as having value and meaning. These activities are related to the areas of self-care, education and work, as well as leisure and recreation. They allow participation in the social and economic life of a community.
