Course overview

CRICOS CODE: 107742F

The Bachelor of Paramedicine has a strong evidence-based focus and uses innovative blended learning and assessment strategies, together with clinical placements, to develop high-level, practical and clinical decision-making skills.

You will be learning in our innovative teaching facility, including simulation rooms, debrief rooms, and an immersive simulation lab with control room.

In second and third year, you'll be given three months of supervised clinical experience with an emergency ambulance service in rural or metropolitan NSW or the ACT. You'll also have a chance to take up an international clinical placement, or short placements in the private paramedicine industry, mental health services, and community and primary healthcare.

This program prepares you for out-of-hospital care to patients of all ages, dealing with health complaints that range from minor to critical.
