Bachelor of Arts graduates find employment in diverse areas including communication and media industries, education, psychology and counselling, cultural, political and social policy analysis, and writing and publishing. The Bachelor of Arts is designed to provide knowledge and generic skills that form the basis for lifelong learning.

The Bachelor of Laws provides students with a broad progressive legal education with a strong practical orientation to the law. Students develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, research, communication, collaboration, self-management, and ethical and professional awareness and judgement. Students will also develop skills in legal advocacy, negotiation, and legal technology and extend their professional and learning experiences through work integrated learning, clinical placement and international exchange engagements.

Western's law programs are a unique alternative to more traditional law schools, with community law activities that give you real world experience. The School of Law operates the Western Sydney University Justice Clinic, providing a much-needed service, while giving students a unique clinical legal learning opportunity.

Our lecturers will challenge, stretch and inspire you, and our connection with prominent, respected professional networks will set you up for career success.
