As global borders continue to contract and overlap, so too does the need for qualified interpreters and English language teachers. Turn your passion for language into a world-spanning career at Western.

A Master of Translation and TESOL from Western lets you transform your English language ability into a desirable and marketable skill, and qualifies you to teach English as a second language. Subject to demand, Western offers majors in Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese and Spanish. This program also provides practical and theoretical training in interpreting and translation and equips you with the research skills necessary to conduct a small research project in your area of interest.

Taught out of our state-of-the-art Parramatta City Campus, you'll emerge with an advanced skills base that lets you combine travel with career opportunities, both at home and abroad.
