Course overview

CRICOS CODE: 041144M

Grounded in a multidisciplinary approach that integrates social, economic and environmental values, the program explores contemporary agricultural science and practice. You'll study at our historic Hawkesbury campus, home to state-of-the-art facilities like the University Farm and biodiverse bushland. These unique settings provide hands-on experience in areas such as advanced plant breeding, greenhouse technology, biotechnology, soil research, integrated management of land and water, and the use of satellite and drone-derived data and other decision support software.

You will learn from world-leading experts in research, industry and community, with opportunities to translate theory into real-world practice through national and international experiences. The flexible program enables you to combine Agricultural Science with other disciplines including animal science, data science, ecology, food science, health and business. Students also have access to specialised experiences linked to the subjects and can collaborate with industry on research projects, gaining critical analytical, problem-solving and practical skills.
