Graduates in industrial design are expected create and innovate by adding value to experiences, interaction, products, businesses and systems.

They are design entrepreneurs and experts that can problem-solve ambiguity. You will need to work independently or in collaboration with others in new product development teams, user experience and interaction, product service systems, production and manufacturing.

The program culminates in a final year industrial design project intending to develop visionary work leading to industry placement, Masters or PhD research place of design in society and its effect on people, the environment and the economy.

You will have an opportunity to apply skills and knowledge gained from this degree in a workplace setting, through an internship or an engaging work-integrated learning experience.
