Overview of the university

Western New England University is located in Springfield, Massachusetts which is home to the Basketball Hall of Fame and within driving distance to New York City and Boston. The University serves approximately 3,600 undergraduate students and 1,000 graduate students of which approximately 200 are international from 30 different countries. Degrees are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Law, and Pharmacy. The University has achieved the highest accreditation standards for business (AACSB), engineering (ABET), and law (ABA), and U.S. News & World Report lists us among the North Region's "Best Universities-Master's Category," those which provide a full range of bachelor's and master's programs. The Economist magazine ranked the University in the top 3 percent of colleges and universities with the "best value" for the education received among the top 1,275 public and private institutions reviewed in the United States. Additionally, based on a Zippia report, Western New England ranks as the #1 university in Massachussetts and #4 in the United States for students being employed within a year of graduation with an employment rate of 95.56%.
