Course overview
If you want to specialise in the psychology of mental health, Walbrook’s MSc Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing offers a flexible online pathway into the field.
This conversion degree is designed for graduates from any discipline who want to understand the psychological foundations of mental health, behaviour and wellbeing. The programme covers the core areas required by the British Psychological Society (BPS), including cognitive, biological, developmental and social psychology, as well as research methods, ethics and personality theory.
As you progress, you’ll focus more deeply on topics related to mental health, wellbeing and behaviour change, developing insight into how psychological knowledge supports individuals, communities and organisations.
Delivered fully online, the course allows you to study full-time or part-time while maintaining work or personal commitments.
The programme is currently pending BPS accreditation and, if approved, will provide Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), the first academic step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist in the UK.
