Course overview

Looking to move into psychology without a previous degree in the subject? Walbrook’s online MSc Psychology is a conversion degree designed to give graduates from any background the academic foundation needed to enter the field.

The curriculum follows the core knowledge areas outlined by the British Psychological Society (BPS), covering cognitive, biological, developmental and social psychology alongside personality theory, ethics and research methods. As you progress, you’ll also explore contemporary topics such as cyberpsychology and organisational behaviour before completing an independent research project.

Delivered entirely online, the programme offers flexible full-time and part-time study options so you can balance learning with work or other commitments. Structured modules, regular feedback and a clear learning pathway help you progress with confidence.

The programme is currently pending BPS accreditation. If approved, it will provide the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), the first academic step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist in the UK.
