Master of Science in Management (specialization in Entrepreneurship) UPF Barcelona School of Management

The Master of Science in Management (specialization in Entrepreneurship) spaced along three terms (September to December, January to March and April to June). Additionally, students have the possibility to undertake an internship, thereby possibly extending their stay for one extra summer term (July to September).

During the 1st term students of the Master of Science in Management and those of all specializations sit together to learn the program's core courses.

In the 2nd and 3rd term students of the Entrepreneurship specialization customize their learning options by choosing 5 Entrepreneurship elective courses and 3 elective courses from any of the Master of Science in Management Specialization tracks. Students also start working on their Master of Science thesis in these terms: the launching of a potential start-up company.

By the summer term students have the chance to carry out an internship if they choose the corresponding course itinerary.

Further to this, students with a business concept in mind will get the chance to develop their idea by testing it in UPF's start-up incubator: the UPF Business Shuttle.

Entry requirements

During the admission process the Admissions Committee will need a series of documents to evaluate your profile's suitability for the program. A copy of the following application documents will be required from you:

• Scanned copy of the student's Bachelor's Degree
• Scanned copy of the Transcript of Records. Make sure that it includes your GPA (Grade Point Average).
• Scanned copy of the student's Passport/ID
• Official proof of English (Check on the required scores above)
• Presentation letter or video
• Photo (.JPG)
• CV or videocurriculum (written in English)
• 2 academic recommendation letters (mandatory) and 1 professional letter (optional)
• GMAT:
  • Required for students from non-analytical Bachelor's Degrees (Humanities, Communication, Tourism, Law, Politics etc.)
  • Strongly recommended for science students (Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, etc.) and students whose analytical background is not duly justified (on the Transcript of Records or by work experience).
  • Not required for students from analytical related Bachelor's Degrees (Economy, Business and Administrations, International Business, Statistics, Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc.).
