Course overview

Explore the World of Political Science

If you're passionate about understanding politics and the dynamics of power, the Political Science programme offers the perfect opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and develop essential skills for a career in governance, policy-making, or media. This programme equips students to analyse political systems, shape public policy, and contribute to social change. With the option to specialise in one of four areas - Media and Politics, Comparative Politics, Global Security, or Europe in the World - students can tailor their education to align with their professional aspirations and deepen their expertise in their chosen field.

Programme Overview

The Political Science programme offers a broad foundation in political theory, sociology, economics, and media studies, allowing students to tackle complex political issues using interdisciplinary approaches. Throughout their studies, students will develop skills in political communication, leadership, and policy analysis. The curriculum includes practical experience through research projects and international exchanges, allowing students to engage with practitioners and experts in politics, public administration, and media.

Students will master key areas such as political doctrines, institutional frameworks, and contemporary political processes, with a special focus on the interaction between politics and the media. They will also learn modern tools in political marketing, media content analysis, and policy research methods. Graduates will be prepared for careers in various sectors, including political advising, media, public administration, and political consulting, with roles such as political consultant, campaign manager, or policy adviser.
