Course overview
Our Diploma is specifically designed for students who wish to study history of art, but whose background is not in the humanities. It provides an ideal bridge between undergraduate and postgraduate study, and is designed to prepare students for our MA degree programme.
You will follow a range of historical and theoretical modules, which firstly will introduce you to history of art as a discipline, and then offer you the opportunity to pursue a specialised area in more depth. Your course culminates in an independent research project that enables you to further explore an area of personal academic interest.
International students will have the opportunity to attend English language classes to improve their language skills, and to develop their oral and written use of academic language.
