About Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering (MEng), MEng - at University of Warwick
Why study Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering at Warwick?- We are consistently in the top ten of all UK league tables.
- Our accredited courses, which can lead to Chartered Engineer status, are collaboratively delivered between the School of Engineering and WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group). This unified approach equips you with the multidisciplinary skills needed to design today’s complex products, which extend beyond the traditional engineering disciplines. We also have a strong track record of collaborating with industrial partners (e.g. Jaguar Land Rover, Arup and Rolls-Royce) through both research and teaching activities.
- Flexible courses enable you to experience the different engineering disciplines before making your final decision to specialise in automotive, civil, electronic, manufacturing and mechanical, or mechanical engineering, or to focus on general engineering or business. This means that you will normally only find Warwick under ‘General Engineering’ in league tables. warwick.
- Our new Student Digital Workshop, built in 2013, allows you to turn designs into reality using technologies such as laser cutting and 3D printing. You will also be working in our two large engineering halls and WMG's International Digital Laboratory.
