Why study Chemistry at Warwick?
- Our Department of Chemistry is ranked in the UK’s top ten by all national league tables and its research activities are highly rated. In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, 98% of our research was classed internationally excellent’ or ‘world leading’.
- Undergraduate teaching laboratories are equipped with state-of-the art instrumentation, and major investment has provided outstanding infrastructure for undergraduate study and research. This includes a High-Field NMR and Ion Cyclotron Centre, and a £24m interdisciplinary centre for Materials and Analytical Science.
- Our strong links with industry and universities worldwide provide opportunities for you to undertake funded summer research projects and seek three-, six- or 12-month placements in industry to build your CV and increase your employability. Third-year research placements are also available throughout Europe, in Singapore or with our partners in Australia (currently in Tasmania or in Melbourne).
