Course Overview

This module will cover:

  • Benefits of workplace coaching to organisations, coachees and coaches
  • Responsibilities, characteristics and behaviours of effective workplace coaching
  • Learner needs and styles
  • Coaching styles and skills
  • Structured approaches to coaching
  • Case studies

Key Features

This module is aimed at anybody who would like to become a work-based coach or introduce a coaching programme to their organisation.

Portfolio, observational feedback and reflective essay.

Further Information

You will be required to attend two teaching days at the Carmarthen campus. These days will provide you with a secure foundation to begin your study. Throughout this module you will be supported by a Tutor. This support can either be face-to-face, via telephone, e-mail or Skype - or a mix of all these.
