Course overview
Course Overview
Learners will explore current requirements of Health and Safety legislation and guidance, especially that relevant to their managerial position. Learners will identify their roles and responsibilities in meeting these requirements and benchmark similar organisations to identify best practice, gaining an understanding of the processes and practices that these organisations employ to meet their Health and Safety responsibilities.
Assessment
A written assignment outlining the Health and Safety legislative requirements and guidance that's relevant to their work and their role and responsibility in meeting these requirements.
Credit Value: 10 credits level 7
Further Information
You will be required to attend two half-day teaching sessions at the Carmarthen Campus. These days will provide you with a secure foundation for your study. Through-out this module you will be supported by a Tutor. This support can either be face-to-face, via telephone, email or Skype - or a mix of all these. You will be required to complete the module within three months of the induction.
This module can be funded through ESF for eligible participants.
