Course Overview
This exciting and varied one year programme is designed for those currently working or planning to work in the care sector for the elderly, or care for people with conditions such as brain injury, autism and dementia.
Key Features
A one year course delivered by professionals with a wide range experience. The programme is designed to support students in developing confidence and transferable skills in areas that affect mental health and wellbeing in their own lives and that of those who they support. A variety of learning styles are used and the course provides opportunities to get the latest subject knowledge and exploration of recent research in subject areas. Completion of this certificate could lead to more responsibilities in the work place.

The course has no examinations and has a range of assessments to suit the needs of the students.

Further Information
There is financial support with grants available-tuition fee loan, course grant and a University bursaries of £1000 per student.
All the CERT HE bursaries are paid in three instalments. Students get £250 in term 1, £250 in term 2 and £500 in term 3.
