Course overview
The BSc Computing programme is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of key computing concepts and the necessary skills needed to successfully navigate the dynamic needs of the digital age. The programme focuses on building proficiency in the technical, ethical and professional dimensions of computing, fostering a holistic approach to learning and education. The curriculum begins with foundational modules that establish a strong grasp of the essential principles of computing. As the programme progresses, there will be an exploration of specialised domains such as web design, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), data science and cyber security which will help students cultivate a multifaceted skill set that is essential in the modern day of technology. Culminating in a final project in a chosen area of Computing, students are given the opportunity to showcase their new found knowledge and skills by demonstrating an ability to tackle real-world computing challenges.
