Course overview

USQ's Bachelor of Business and Commerce is a career-oriented degree designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge for your chosen profession. However, if you are not seeking membership of a professional body and would like a solid foundation in commerce, the general commerce major is ideal.

The flexibility of the degree means that you can tailor your study to your specific areas of interest. With commerce underpinning a diverse range of business areas, your major will consist of a combination of eight units from either the accounting, business economics, business law, finance, information technology or sustainable business majors available through the Bachelor of Business and Commerce.

Career outcomes

As a graduate from this program, you will be prepared for a career within public or private sector national or global organisations. The structure of the program provides you with the knowledge and skills to be effective in a wide range of careers, such as commerce, finance and banking.
