Course overview

Do you prefer tasks which require a high attention to detail, excel in orderly and logical practical tasks, and planning for unforeseen events? USQ's Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Logistics and Supply Chains) may be the degree for you. Logistics and Supply Chain managers are the quiet achievers of an organization. They operate behind the scenes ensuring that products are produced and distributed in the right quantity, at the right time and to the right specifications.

Through this major you will learn essential skills in planning, procurement, storage, production and delivery from supplier/s to customer/s. It also provides managers with skills in setting deadlines, identifying start times and determining the shortest possible times in completion of activities.

In addition to your chosen specialization of Logistics and Supply Chain, you can choose to study another area in-depth with a second major, or broaden your knowledge with a combination of minors and electives.

Career outcomes

As a graduate, you will have career opportunities as a production manager, purchasing manager, planning and scheduling officer, logistics and supply chain manager, inventory manager, and distribution manager.
