Course overview
This degree aims to enable students to complete a postgraduate program that will lead to an advanced level of knowledge in a specialised area of engineering. The graduate certificate of engineering technology (technology management) is ideal for engineers or scientists who have a three-year degree in science, engineering or technology and want to extend their knowledge of managing current technology and the technology of future. Through this four unit degree, students have the option to select from a range of courses (subjects) which include assessment of future specialist technology, management of technological risk and global information systems strategy. Students could take the credit from their studies and go on to complete the master of engineering technology. Technology management at USQ provides students with the knowledge and skills to be at the forefront of technological change and innovation within all sectors, including mining, manufacturing, farming, medicine and energy.
