Aim of the programme This programme emphasises the commercial aspects of shipping and focuses on the international shipping industry in a global marketplace. General programme structure Plymouth has offered a Master`s programme in International Shipping since 1978, earning a global reputation in industry for providing graduates of the highest calibre. The MSc in International Logistics was introduced in 1991 and the MSc in Port Management in 2001. The MSc in International Shipping programme is industry-focused. We investigate the commercial aspects of shipping, logistics and ports. It emphasises corporate decision-making whilst encouraging practical hands-on research and application. We aim to equip you with the skills required for work in industry, academia or agency work. Recent graduates have found employment in the shipping industry worldwide.
