About European and Global Studies, MA - at University of Padua
The Master’s degree provides a global, original and critical perspective on political and institutional settings. Through the mastery of specialized knowledge, solid competences, methods and conceptual tools the programme facilitates the analysis of political, historical, social and economic phenomena. This background allows the understanding, development and management of political strategies, social intervention and projects both at European and at international level, within multi-actor and multi-level settings.
Programme structure
Common track: History of ideas; Political Philosophy; Political Science; Public Management and Policy Analysis; History of International Relations; Law; Economics; Sociology and Applied Linguistics
- Study track European Policies: multidisciplinary analysis of the main policy and governance challenges that the European Union is facing
- Study track Global Communication Policies: focuses on how governance, communication and digital transformations intersect emerging policy and societal challenges
- Study track Global social policies and security issues: focuses on the main current global social challenges, especially on the consequences of inequality and limited social justice on the emergence of security issues
Career opportunities
