Course overview

The School of Computer Science and IT is an internationally established institution pursuing leading edge research in areas such as automated scheduling, mixed reality, interactive media and foundations of programming. The School received the excellent grade of 5 for the quality of its research at the last Research Assessment Exercise in 2001.

Excellence in research feeds into our undergraduate and postgraduate education. The school, which is situated on the award winning Jubilee Campus, offers a variety of single and joint honour undergraduate degrees, taught master degrees and a research lead PhD degree.
