If you are a practising education professional with a desire to develop an advanced understanding of your area of expertise and professional qualifications then the Master of Education is the program for you. This program will enhance your knowledge of education practice and theory, explore contemporary education issues, and connect you with the latest developments in the field. Entry requirements

The Master of Education is an 80-unit postgraduate qualification for:

  • qualified teachers who wish to gain an additional teaching area in Mathematics or TESOL; or
  • qualified teachers who wish to undertake professional development.

Admission is available for applicants who have one of the following qualifications or equivalent:

Teacher Retraining

  • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Education/Teaching; or
  • Bachelor Honours Degree in Education/Teaching; or
  • Bachelor Degree in Education/Teaching.

Professional Development

  • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Education/Teaching; or
  • Bachelor Honours Degree in Education/Teaching; or
  • Bachelor Degree in Education/Teaching.

Relevant fields include education, teaching, training, tutoring, or equivalent.
